What's your opinion? (Resume question)...? - cover letter to dallas cowboys

I am a part-time student at the University of the search for a full-time job. I understand that competition is probably busy right now with the economy as it is, but I have sent several CVs received this week and not a single call for an interview.

* Is there something wrong with my cover letter or resume?

* Can my lack of calls because of the holiday - maybe next week to choose?

* Worse still, my work history, which sporadically for two years because I was a full-time students ... I worked full-time jobs for a period shorter, but eventually left to concentrate on my studies.

I have my new resume and I am even willing to have taken less money than I think I deserve it. What can I do? Suggestions?
